These pictures have no point or story behind them other than he is one adorable baby and I was playing with the settings on my camera. :O)

Provided hours and hours of entertainment for Zoe. I think this is when she was on her way to check the mail.
First, you make sure it’s good, deep, squishy mud.

Then, you run.

All the way down to the end (the real wet part)

Come back up the road

Enter from the top (apparently there is a correct way to enter a large puddle)

And do it all over again…and again…and again

…cracks me up. In May when we were having our rains a large section of our garden flooded. I saw Zoe in her nice white shirt playing in the mud. It was too late by then so I didn’t say anything. About 5 minutes later she comes running up to the house,
“Mom! Can I change into my swimsuit so I can play in the mud?”
I ask the obvious question, “You haven’t been playing in the mud already?”
“No. Can I change?”

On our last run to the dump Zoe and I sat in the car watching the ‘dance’ of the garbage trucks and bull dozers. (it was a busy day and they were moving fast!) Suddenly, from the backseat I hear,
Z: I want one of those!
M: You weant a bull dozer?
Z: Yep, pink with sparkles.
M: Wow, pink and sparkles.
Z: Yes, for Daddy.
About a week ago Zoe gave a two wheeler a try and that was it. She is no longer using those pesky training wheels. She did and awesome job and picked it up so quickly (and avoided going into the ditch a number of times).

It all started because one of her training wheeles wouldn’t stay down and, of course, was not helpful at all (it probably had something to do with me running it over with the car a while ago). So instead of trying to fix that one we just kicked the other one up and out of the way and sent her off. Well, not quite, she did have some help. It wasn’t long at all before she was one her own.

And what better way to celebrate the event than with a party! Our friends Monica and Xavier came over to celebrate with us. Way to go Zoe. We are very proud of you!

That’s right folks…I have my two bottom teeth! Mom couldn’t figure out what was going on with me since I wasn’t my normal contented self. But she finally figured it out and now we are all good. Happy days of chewing ahead!
Zeke got his first hair cut the other day. He did great as soon as we turned him around so he could check it out himself. Zoe was again our budding photographer during the process.

Gone is the hair dangling down his back. He looks like such the little man now.
Can you guess what we are working on?
Maybe this will help
Zoe has been copying everything she sees. She is loving these lessons. They are short, sweet and to the point. The highlight of the lesson is practicing her letters. She already knows how to write them all but, that is still her favorite part. I’m excited she’s excited about it.
I’ve been receiving comments from some friends that were starting to doubt the existence of Ezekiel based on the lack of photographic evidence so, here you go.
The following pictures were taking about 5 days after Ezekiel was born. I really thought I had already posted them but I guess not. These were taken by a friend that is awesome with pictures and needed to “practice” so we were able to reap the benefits.
I love these pictures. She tried to get a little more skin showing but the one with the tiny chest shot was all he would stand for. He is very modest.
